SERMONS

  • Five Alone: Christ Alone (Solo Christo), Feb. 26th

Our 3rd installment of the Spring Journey points to Christ Alone (Solo Christo). In reading through John 6:31-51; 1 Timothy 2:5-6, we learn that Jesus alone is our salvation and the mediator between God and humans.

  • Five Alone: The Bible Alone (Sola Scriptura), Feb. 19th

Our Spring Journey continues with the first of the five “Solas:” The Bible Alone (Sola Scriptura). We examine Psalm 119:1-8 and 129-136, and learn that the Bible teaches all that we need to know about sin, salvation and obedience to God.

  • Five Alone: Martin Luther's (Re) Discovery, Feb. 12th

This Sunday, we start Five Alone: Applying five ancient truths to everyday life. We study Romans 1:15-17 and examine how one man (Martin Luther) rediscovered the power of the Gospel that another man (Paul) wrote about. This great Gospel covers our guilt and allows us to experience true joy and freedom.

  • In the Beginning: Horror Story, Feb. 5th

In our final week of “In the Beginning,” we study the tragedy of Genesis 3.  The moment Adam and Eve believed the lie of the serpent (a lie that we are told daily), their relationship with God changed, as did the entire creation.  Yet even in the immediate moments after the Fall, God’s compassion and eventual victory over sin through His Son Jesus are shown.
