Idora Mission Trip Interest Meeting

Interested in a mission trip this summer? We have an opportunity for you.

Following BOTH services on Sunday, May 15th at approximately 10:00am and 12:00pm, we will hold an interest meeting for those that would like to attend a mission trip to Idora (near Youngstown, OH) this summer.

NOTE – Join us on the opposite side from where we worship in the NAMS Cafeteria Building in the “High School” Cafeteria for this meeting, not in the room behind the stage as previously mentioned.

Hope for Renewal is an Evangelical Presbyterian Church plant in the Idora neighborhood of Youngstown. The EPC encourages its congregations to be involved in church planting in one of three ways – partner, patron, or planter. NAPC serves as a patron of Hope for Renewal, providing financial support to help them restore their ministry building and support their ministry.

Past and current ministry activities of Hope for Renewal include community prayer walks through the neighborhood, monthly prayer nights, and weekly playground community picnics from June through October. With the opening of Glenwood Grounds, Hope for Renewal & NAPC are now partnering for our first ever Mission Trip!

Families, individuals and couples welcome to join us July 12th to July 15th. Our mission trip will include serving at Glenwood Grounds Coffee Shop, construction/handiwork at Glenwood Grounds and a community Vacation Bible School in the Idora Park nearby. 

The purpose of Hope for Renewal’s activities is to build community and personal relationships extending the love of Christ to all. Their ministry in Idora has shaped the way we do ministry in Linden, and we are excited for the opportunity to serve them this summer.
