December 5 sermon
On Sunday, we continue our series; “The Tip of the Spear”. This series will prepare our hearts in the Advent season for the coming of Jesus Christ our Savior. This week’s sermon titled “Joseph” will teach us that Jesus’ incarnation was aided by abetted his adoptive dad Joseph, a relatively obscure man in the line of David who trusted God and obeyed Him in a critical time. We are commanded to do the same. Scriptures referenced: Matthew 1:18-25.
November 28 sermon
This Sunday, we begin a new series. This series “The Tip of the Spear” will prepare our hearts in the Advent season for the coming of Jesus Christ our Savior. This week’s sermon titled “Mary” will teach us that in Mary we see extraordinary faith in the most ordinary of persons. God is the grace-giving actor in this passage, but Mary’s response of childlike faith should be a model for us. Scriptures referenced: Luke 1:26-38.
November 21 sermon
This Sunday, we hear a special message from Pastor David titled “Grateful for the Gospel”. We learn that the Christian life is foundationally what God has done for us in spite of what we deserve. Are we doing the good works he has prepared in advance for us to do? If not, should we claim that we are Christians? Scriptures referenced: Ephesians 2:1-10.
