Local Missions

As the power of the Spirit works within our corporate worship, fellowship and training, our mission is to be witnesses to our community, our country and the world. At NAPC our desire is to go out into the world and honor Christ as Lord. Acts 1:8

Linden

Since 2018, NAPC started supporting the Linden Community in Columbus, OH. A mere 9 miles from the New Albany community, the Linden community was put on our hearts following our transition to the EPC. Take a look at the following ministries we support in the Linden Community and click the link to know more about each.

TWENTYEIGHT:19 – TwentyEight:19 is a local non-profit serving the Linden community within the City of Columbus.  We are a Christian Ministry Center dedicated to creating generational change by sharing the Gospel into the Linden community with one goal – to make disciples of Jesus Christ.  TwentyEight:19 was founded by three members of NAPC; Jim Haley, Patrick Smith and Tom Skoulis.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes – NAPC provides meals and a message to Linden Students during the school year through FCA. If you are interested in helping cook or serve the meal or getting to know some of the athletes, you can let us know here.

RESET– Reset is a non-profit ministry with the purpose to help fulfill the Great Commission among the public school students in Columbus, Ohio by providing faith based curriculum to students during the school day.  RESET was the pioneer of bringing Bible education into the public school system in central Ohio.  RESET picks up children from their public school, transports them to an off-site location and teaches the students a Bible class during school hours.

NAPC Life Team

The New Albany Presbyterian Church Life Team – Is a small group of individuals who are championing life in our Church and community and partnering with agencies providing Pro Life, adoption and foster care services.  We will support members of our church and community with Life decisions, that will be biblically based, guided in prayer, and able to connect them to services that align with God’s written word.

Lifewise Academy

In 2021, NAPC began a partnership with LifeWise Academy by serving weekly, donating supplies, praying for and supporting their mission financially. LifeWise Academy is a Released Time Religious Instruction program focused on Bible-based character education and is offered for New Albany students in grades 1st through 3rd grade.

OUT OF DARKNESS

In the 21st century, far too many people are trapped in the darkness of sex trafficking. Out of Darkness is on the frontlines every day rescuing these individuals. When people are rescued out of sex trafficking, they can begin to walk out God’s purpose for their lives and become a beacon of light for others. Visit their website to find out more.

Young Life – East Columbus

NAPC offers financial support to Young Life. Their mission is to invite kids to follow Christ, care for them regardless of their response, and change lives in the process. Kids’ lives are dramatically influenced when caring adults come alongside them, sharing God’s love with them. Because their Young Life leader believes in them, they begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose. Visit the YoungLife to find a local chapter near you.
